Under staffed Water well/orphan sponsorship department.

As the above states, there is an overwhelming amount of donors who are frustrated and disappointed in lack of feedback in regards to reporting delays on WASH projects with no communication to notify the donor unless they call in themselves asking about a project thats taken more than 12months +. The donor support team have to communicate with only (2x) employees who are solely responsible for this and getting a hold of them more often than not isn't the easiest and we must email them to contact the donor who often is even more frustrated that they will be contacted back at a later time. Perhaps training a larger pool of the team member's to communicate all delays in a timely manner so the donor knows there is a delay with the construction etc. Strong communication is needed and more staff in departments that are clearly overwhelmed. If you look at review pages for the charity online a large majority is lack of communication regarding wells.
