The quality and frequency of these is poor and does not meet donor expectations. This is likely to harm their perception of Muslim Hands as a whole.

Plan:
- Welcome email to donor's explaining how the sponsorship programme works.
- Quarterly newsletters sent out.
- Sporadic updates from our own schools (including sponsorship components such as education, school meals and health check ups).
- Renewal messages sent when annual sponsorships are up for renewal.
- Need a system in place to record orphan/hifz/family/disabled sponsorship visits and medical check ups, and send out as reports. This would significantly increase feedback, but we need the amendments made to the system to allow for this.
- Need to improve deactivations. Where possible, field offices should upload photos, thank you letters, videos and information on what the beneficiaries are doing now, especially for over-aged deactivations where donors could have been sponsoring an orphan for a decade.
- Need to add following options: link for donor's to change card details, link for annual donor's to change payment plan type, link for donor's to make up missed payments.
- Sending out emails to donor's who ended their sponsorship and encouraging them to re-start.
- Have our beneficiaries included in more MH project and allow donor's to donate and get feedback on. Currently, we do Qurbani and Ramadan food parcels for orphans. I am sure we have lot's of our beneficiaries from our sponsorship programmes; so a way to get this feedback on an individual and general level would be great to share with donors and raise funds from.
